How do I get access to a chili dog?

Do they sell chili mix at stores or does it have to be made?

Are there freezable chili dogs that they sell at stores?
>>
Where do you live? The chili they put on a regular old chili dog is pretty basic and you can make it at home easily. Ground beef, beans, a pack of chili seasoning.

1. Obtain hot dog
2. Obtain chili

No idea where you live but making chili isn't exactly difficult. Just make some fresh.

Chili con carne, commonly known in American English as simply "chili", is a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat, and often tomatoes and beans. Other seasonings may include garlic, onions, and cumin.
4/10, you baited me.

Ask your parents
>>
>>9200104
I personally prefer my chili to use diced meat, rather than ground beef. Something along the lines of http://allrecipes.com/recipe/15410/steak-chili/ would work. Chili's damn easy to make, but tastes better the longer you let it simmer, in my experience.
>>
>>9200132
There are many varieties of chili. The kind they put on hot dogs typically has beans.
>>
>>9200132
it is better without beans, agreed
>>
>>9201193
No it's not you retard fuck non flyover. Check out the people who made the Coney dog, no beans. Go to a place like A&w no beans. Retard fucks like you put bean chili on because you're fucking retarded as shit.

Looks like you're extremely mad about the way some people cook. I'd suggest leaving this site for a while and getting some human interaction; it will probably help with your poor disposition. What people call chili comes in many forms. People add beans, tomatoes, ground beef or whole, etc. It's possible to enjoy many different recipes and varieties of food without tantruming like a child. Try it some time.
>>
>>9201285
You can be a stupid faggot and eat bean chili dogs. Just don't say "that's the way it's supposed to be" because it's not.
>>
>>9201290
Please stop being so antagonistic, it's unnecessary. In a lot of places when you order a chili dog they'll give you a dog with a thin, beanless sauce referred to as Coney sauce. In others you'll get a version of chili that has beans and tomatoes. This is not hard to understand and it's baffling you're getting so confrontational over regional food preferences.
>>
>>9201294
I won't promote your degeneracy. You can make a BLT with bologna instead of bacon if you're a dumb unsophisticated fuck. Doesn't make it right.
>>
>>9200136
>it's literally just Hormel or Wolf's no beans canned chili dumped on top of a hot dog
This. I personally like the beans in my hot dog chili. But, you can even find Skyline Castelberry coney island type chili topping too in the can.

Restaurants are either actually making their own chili con carne, because they also sell it by the bowl, or on top of nachos, or they using the canned stuff.

Soft bun, steamed or grilled all beef hot dog, chiil, raw onions, cheese. Eat with a knife and fork is how we did it in our family.
Especially good with fries, if a little chili makes it on top of them.

Shopping list:
hebrew national dinner frank or reduced fat is what I'd get
Hormel chili (or buy ground beef, tomatoes, chili mix, onions for easy mode)
one red or vidalia onion
Block of aged cheddar or colby (and your own grater)
Potato or basic dog buns, maybe from the bakery, or just cheap bagged stuff, top split buns if you can find them.
yellow mustard (many people like a touch under the dog, and it's how sonic and other restaurants serve it too).

A BLT is very commonly known and accepted to have one definition: bacon, lettuce, tomato. Chili, on the other hand, is more versatile and is prepared in a lot of different ways. There is no one "right" way to make chili. Cooking is about using eating what you enjoy, and tweaking and customizing to your liking.
>>
>>9201311
I like beans in my chili. I use red kidney beans. That, however, is chili I eat with a spoon. Not the kind that goes on dogs.
>>
>>9201303
>you're a dumb unsophisticated fuck
>talking about the precise way to eat a tube stuffed with offal paste and topped with more meat
>talking about bologna

Kek, I guess that passes for sophisticated in flyover territory.

I guess that passes for urban youth education.

The problem I see is this.

>>9201193
>The kind they put on hot dogs typically has beans.

You specifically stated "typically has beans" for use on hot dogs. That means you think on hot dogs it normally has beans.

But then here, >>9201285
You try to defend "chili for hotdogs typically has beans" by saying "What people call chili comes in many forms. People add beans, tomatoes, ground beef or whole, etc. It's possible to enjoy many different recipes and varieties of food without tantruming like a child. Try it some time."

Then here, >>9201294
>Please stop being so antagonistic, it's unnecessary. In a lot of places when you order a chili dog they'll give you a dog with a thin, beanless sauce referred to as Coney sauce. This also negates the original post of "the chili for hot dogs typically has beans"

go back to your hugbox, you talk like a queer
>>
>>9201371
I recommended chili with beans to OP because it was the first one that came into my head. I could just as easily have said to use a regular old thin Coney sauce. Both recommendations would've been correct as both types of chili are used, depending on location and your preference (which is the important thing).

>>9201374
Sorry that your parents never taught you how to talk to people. It's called normal human interaction.
>>
>>9201392
I don't like chili with or without beans on them. I prefer meat hot sauce which I suppose you can call chili without beans?
>>
>>9201419
Meat hot sauce? Can't say I've heard the term, but from your picture it looks like ground beef in a sauce. Might be what some places call Coney sauce.
>>
>>9201421
It's made in western NY state for hotdogs mostly and garbage plate style things. It's pretty much like beanless chili except can get pretty lip burning spicy but still with flavor. Some places there do it better than others.
>>
>>9200104
Just buy Coney dog sauce. It'll be near the chili. Get you some chili dogs fast.
>>
>>9200104
