Is it bad if I like my meat so dry that it breaks in my mouth?
>>9197376
Yes. Meat should be eaten fresh, as fresh as possible, and as close to raw as possible, if not totally raw. Something went wrong in your bloodline or in your brain, you retard.

What if it's a desert animal though? Then it'd be dry and raw.

WRONG

There is nothing wrong with Jerky.
>>9197497
Jerky really shouldn't break in your mouth. It should lose enough water to be firm enough to bend without breaking. It's more chewy than brittle if made correctly.

I like pork chops done this way, with gravy/ apple sauce for moistening

what about crackling
>>9197899
That's just crispy fat and still has enough moisture to be juicy not dry. If it had all the moisture cooked out, it would be as hard as a stone and you'd chip a tooth.

nah that just aint true son

Ever had fatback? Fry it long enough and it really will break your teeth

>dry it up completely just to make it moist again
