Honestly does ANYONE eat 38g of fiber a day?
Started working my way up to it, from eating around 5g a day. Hope it'll help my chronic constipation.
I find it extremely hard, almost inhuman, to get the daily recommended amount of fiber that were supposed to get.
Just get some fiber pills you'll shit like a king
Have a peanut butter sandwich with bananas. Eat more beans. Get rid of your snacks and instead have handfuls of lentils straight from the bag. Have a cup of fiber 1. Its really not that hard man

This. I wouldnt kill myself with dietary changes. If this is a problem for you related to fiber, you will find out in short order if that is the reason with your timely, perfectly portioned, amounts of fiber and liquid with some reconstituted fiber supplement. You will know if you drink it down with some water if it is that or the other.
I think the RDA of fiber is attainable if you are a bread and cereal eater. Buying those high fiber sandwich breads are like half of your RDA at lunch time, because they have 8-15g in each slice. Add in a bowl of cereal, like Kashi To Good Friends, and a piece or two of whole fruit, and you're done. Finally, if you were not getting enough fiber and motility, you probably had a pretty bad diet or lifestyle, gorging some meals, skipping others, eating without nutritional 3 meals, 2 snacks kind of sense? Try just finding some handout of a good menu for the week and go with that, versus sporadic ideas to eat beans right now.

There's no reason to eat fiber except to soften the blow of eating too much empty calorie sugary crap. Just don't eat the empty calorie sugary crap and fiber is unecessary.

I haven't cared about nutrition for a long while now but I vaguely remembered it being 15-20 or something, my memory is awful though

i eat 60-80g a day. you can cheat by adding psyllium husk to yogurt in the morning (4.5g. fibre per 5g serving). i also eat 8-11 servings of fruit and vegetables a day

Its 25 to 30 a day which is easy to hit.
