Are there any recommended cook books out there or something to get me into cooking? I honestly don't know where to start or what to make, I just wanna start making good food.

Just cook what you like anon. Maybe do some research on basic cooking skills then just cook what you feel like.

You'll probably be shit to start with but just practice.

400 sauces is a good book.
A lot of pretty simple recipes with images and minimal ingredients. Making a good sauce to your meal does a lot more than you can imagine.
