Anyone else work with food distribution?
Pic related, I got free albacore tuna steaks, thick and heavy. Could have taken a lot more or bigger pieces if I wanted but Im not sure how I'd cook the bigger ones. These were the smallest thickness I could pick.
I work in cold storage, whenever something arrives damaged we track it and it (usually) goes into the damage area, ie OK to take home. Sadly not a lot of interesting stuff, usually berries of some kind. We did have ice cream a while back and that had LOTS of damage, surprisingly none intentional. The office ladies loved it cuz it was mostly chocolate but I'm not a big sweets guy so I was indifferent to it.
