>1 tablespoon mustard
>1 tablespoon ketchup
>1/2 tablespoon wister sauce
>teaspoon cider vinigar
>s&p to taste
>shredded cheddar on top

This, basically. De-seeding and roasting the chilis takes some effort but it's worth it
Probably won't make proper chili until it gets cold again- I don't have a crock-pot anymore and I'd have to heat up the whole house for hours with my dutch oven.
You gotta brown a pork butt and then let it slow cook all day in garlic, canned tomatoes, a bunch of those roasted anaheims the chili roasters sell (if you live in an area with Mexicans), tomatillos, chicken stock, and ass. spices.
Basically no labor, fool-proof method unless you fuck up your pork butt, and the leftovers can be used diversely enough that with potatoes, rice, or eggs I can eat only chili-based dishes for a week.
That isn't chili, man. I'm sorry to tell you, but it just isn't.
