I've been trying to get into it but I literally just started cooking like two weeks ago

Figure out what you want to eat, do a youtube search, compare recipes and the way they're prepared, choose one and give it a shot. It's that easy.

I think finding out what you want to cook and then YouTube'ing a recipe is a good way to go. That's how I learned quite a few recipes.
