I've heard almost every food or drink to be bad for you and it's really hard to keep track. To make things easier, what exactly can you/ should you eat?

As for beverages just drink water or unsweet iced tea. I use splenda in my iced tea so it's sweet but honestly idk if there are any adverse effects so not sure if I should recommend it on the board.

Serious answer: Eliminate highly processed industrial pig slop with additives. That's 95% of a typical american supermarket's inventory. Stick to unrefined whole foods. Pretty easy really. Emphasis on vegetables, fruits and whole grains. Moderate amounts of meat and dairy.

Vegan is certainly better than normal eating but not optimal. Raw vegan is just plain stupid though. >>9177643 cut the top 3, especially eggs and dairy are very questionable.

That's it. That's literally the extent of what we know to conclusively avoid. Every single other answer that says "eggs are bad" or "eat vegan!" or "some red wine is excellent for you!" is full of shit because precisely 0 of those studies are conclusively on a dietary scale, only on a micronutritional one.
