I'm sure they have it in Scotland, but the rest of Europe is under EU law which bans just about every magic-science-made food.
American cheese is specifically a form of dairy product, it's not technically a cheese.

Salt/pepper of course, but I like to throw some A1 steak sauce on the patties as they're almost done. I flip them so it spreads on both sides and it makes for a really good smokey flavor
