Tastes good, as long as you don't use too much sugar. Sometimes I like to have a cup of coffee with milk and sugar as a dessert, or tea with milk and honey. It's nice. Usually just a teaspoon of sugar or honey in a big cup of coffee or tea.

Bitter doesn't necessarily mean bad, just like sweet doesn't necessarily mean good. Things can be overly bitter to the point of making you feel sick, but the same thing can happen with sugar. Too much sugar actually makes my throat burn and makes me cough.

I even tried having coffee with brown sugar and nearly went into a coma because of the amount of brown sugar it took to make it taste a little sweet.

I've also eaten half a pound of raw sugar by itself before. I could literally hear the blood flowing through my veins.
