gotta agree with anon. makes for a good steak.
but yeah, if I'm grilling, 90% of the time I'll just put olive oil, salt, and pepper on the steaks. good god
>>9154818
>what is butter
Garlic salt can be nice
Fucking hell, this meme is out of control. Generally, you will not find steak of enough quality, so it can be seasoned by just that. There are also many cheap cuts that need help because they lack somethings. Yea, a proper thick steak needs no more, but that isn't what you typically get at a supermarket except for some occasion.
>steak

>no sauteed onions and mushrooms or peppercorn cream sauce or herb butter or pan drippings deglazed with stock and reduced
why do you have to limit yourself so much just because it's a steak? there are plenty of other things you can add without entirely overwhelming the flavor.

Where do you live, Moldova?

Goes really well with a can of bang's
>Because a steak is good without additional flavorings, you should never ever season it
This is a dumb opinion. I'm a butcher and I've had my fair share of steaks, believe you me that meme gets old real fucking fast. If you've never had the pleasure of properly spiced up/seasoned/marinated steaks of high quality, you haven't lived my man.

>bang's
I'm a little more picky when it comes to a good steak.
I put Montreal Steak spice on my filet

What do you sop your steak up in brother? I've heard adding a little acidity really kicks it up a notch.
