Any one make anything for dinner? I made NY strip with NY salt potatoes and some sweet corn. There was suppose to be asparagus with it but that got messed up. The steak was grilled to 135F internal and rested about 10 mins. I couldn't finish even half of everything. I'm poor so don't make fun of me.

Where do you think we are? Everyone is out as we speak picking up fast food.

Would not doubt it one bit but I have faith in some

I know the potatoes are small, but that still looks like an excessive amount.
Also, they don't look salty enough. Should be a salt crust on them.
Made burgers, fries and garlic aioli for the gf and I today. Classic toasted potato bun, onion, bacon, and an IPA for me. All made on the new cast iron I got as well. Pic related. Any good beer pairings for homemade burgers people know of? Also I used 80/20 beef, what's the skinny on 70/30. Seems extreme to me.

It was an excessive amount and I didn't measure the salt. There was 4 left over. Normally I do better but tonight I was not feeling it. It was just what ever. This is the grill I cooked the steak on, though.

I did forget to mention the steak and corn looked perfect.

That corn looks delightful OP.
I made a white mornay sauce with tuna and poured it over fresh pasta.
I eat it weekly.
why corn and potatoes? i always hate that.

Looks bretty gud Oppie. I haven't felt like shopping lately so I used leftovers to make curry sweer potatoe salmon cakes with a lemon, mustard, and dill mayo sauce. Also steeped up a batch of tarragon, mint, and lemon balm herbal tea. Twas extremely satisfying.
I'm not sure what I'm making but I got my roomie to take a pic, she's telling me how to make it, we've been drinking. I don't normally cook or post here.
Made some basic sloppy joe, using turkey hamburger instead of regular hamburger so I wouldn't have to trash the grease.
It was good, but still, cleaning the pan was a pain as always.

Emily Barry.
Blah blah blah through a walkie talkie
frozen orange chicken and fried rice from Aldi.
The chicken was pretty good, very similar to takeout. The rice tasted like Rice-A-Roni more than anything. A little disappointing.

I had yassa chicken with couscous
I'm having a hot dog with sausages two weeks past expiration date. I boiled the hell out of them, so I probably shouldn't get listeriosis. They're not very good, regardless.

those fires look pretty greasy.
I like them.
