Watched a video about how they make these. They dip apples in a natural pesticide that's harmless to humans but happens to taste and smell exactly like grape ester. If you go to a field treated with it, it smells sickly sweet and just like grape kool-aid.

I love them all except Fuji, Red Delicious, and usually Macintosh (though I've had a few that weren't bland).

Not too crazy about Braeburns and Galas, I've had some bad experiences with cutting into what looks like a gorgeous apple only to be greeted with a slimy, mushy, browning center. When they're good, though, they're damn good.

Where the fuck is Granny Smith though? And Crispin? Crispins are amazing. Other delicious omissions from the list are Jazz, Envy, Pacific Rose, Pinata, and Lemonade.
