Anybody try the new Costco burger in their food court yet? I know it can't beat their hot dogs in price but sometimes you might be hungry enough for both a burger and a hot dog.

>>9137797

Fucking how? A 1/3lb burger should be around 800 cal. Do they inject it with lard?
>>9138144

>>9137797

>>9137797
>$5 burger in a menu filled with food no more expensive than $3
>over half of your day's calories if youre not a fatass
It better knock my fucking socks off i tell you what
>>9138246
no it doesn't, trans fat was banned in america; food products can't have more than 0.001 % of trans fat in it anymore.
>>9138354
I used to think exactly like you until i started getting better mayo than heckmann's
>>9138360
you're doing it wrong.
>>9138354
the best burger sauce is a combination of mayo, mustard and pickle relish
>>9138358
It does man. Look at the hot dogs and frozen beef patties. They all have trans fat
>>9138384
you're thinking of sat fat
>>9138384
then call the cops, it's legally not allowed.
>>9138388
No im not...its clear as day right under the sat fat, trans fat, 1/2g per hot dog/hamburger
>>9138144
cooking it in a generous helping of a stick of butter. the buns also look like brioche, which they could easily butter post-thaw.
$4.99!?!?!? What the fuck is this? Whole Foods?
>>9138144
yeah for serious. 1140 cal is more than TWO BIG MACS
>>9138354

Costco is testing some burgers at certain locations.
>>9138160
I don't think the Costco kitchen is even equipped with a fryer.
Maybe in the future, Costco is gonna star selling fries and burgers,
>>9138660
how do they make churros then?
>>9138660
>I don't think the Costco kitchen is even equipped with a fryer.
>Sells a ton of samples across the store
>Sells fryers
You wot, m8?
>>9138358
All beef fat has trans fat in it. It's naturally occurring.
My costco has had the burger for a few months now. It's a good size and tastes better than any other burger that a store wants $5 for.
>>9137797
>1140 kcal
>4.99 + tax + tip
>>9138377
Add some black pepper to that mix, and I'm totally with you.
>>9138874
>All beef fat has trans fat in it
very little.
Trans fats only appear in appreciable quantities with artificially produced oils, which as anon mentioned, are largely banned.
>>9138874
I thought they were called transfats specifically because they'd been intentionally transformed into non-saturated fats in order to deceive the eater into thinking its healthier.
Then again, this was just middle school biology.
>>9138178
Do you even understand how serving sizes work?
The pull pork is probably better.
>>9138141
The brisket burger was a bland paper textured travesty.
>>9139191
i thought they were called trans fats bc they are all mtf
>>9137797
It's supposed to be a copycat shake shack burger
I've tried the burger
It tasted ok, felt like something a food truck would make except half the size. I'd rather stick to the trial and true chicken bake though.
inb4 fatass, Im skinny fat - only tried it cause new
>>9140079
it's "tried and true"
>>9137797
But is it as good as Sam's Club pizza?
>>9137815
>2% back on all purchases
If you spend $6,000 a year on groceries you're already breaking even, plus you get Costco pricing + access to other membership goodies like cheap gas and travel rewards and other stuff

Costco is beyond a "super" market. What's more than super? Ultramarket? Hypermarket? Anyway, they have gas, tires, electronics, gift cards, and lots of other cool shit. People come from all the surrounding cities to go to a Costco. It's a big deal.
Also, the point is to make your money back. So, just buy lots of gas and rotisserie chickens that somehow cost less than raw chickens.
>>9138617
>you save money in the long run
No, you don't, unless you're buying for 5 or more people. Since most of you are either single or your parents are still paying your bills, Costco has 0 (zero) financial benefit for you.
>>9138144
>800 calories worth of meat
>150-200 calories worth of bun
>80 calories worth of cheese
>30-60 calories worth of condiments and vegetables
Wow, that was fucking hard. No wonder people are so fucking fat.
