Bakers, what's your experience with baking breads in Dutch Ovens?

It works pretty well if you like rustic loaves.

The best. Perfect crust, perfect cook.
Does anyone here know any brands that make Dutch ovens specifically designed for baking? Preferably a Dutch oven with a long oval/rectangle shaped base. I wanna make some fairly long Turkish Pide pizzas and my 7 quart circular Dutch oven has a small circular base which is limiting.

I've never seen a dutch oven made specifically for that, but I do have a couple ideas.
1) There do exist long, narrow, cast-iron cookware types that are meant for other things but could easily be used to bake in. One would be a classic Terrine mold. The other I don't remember the name of, but it's a very long oval-shaped cast iron "pot" with a lid, meant for cooking fish in.
2) Visit any welding or steel fabrication shop and tell them what you want. They could easily make up something from steel plate for you. It would cook/season/maintain just like cast iron. You could specify the exact dimensions you want, how thick it would be, etc.

Lodge used to make one. Model 3025D. Collector's item now. Though if you google "3025 cast iron fish fryer" you will find several currently available knockoffs.

Yeah I made a loaf in a dutch oven once. I made quite a mess and got it all dirty in there. The maid had quite a job scrubbing to clean it all up. Stank quite a bit too.
