I love food so fucking much.
I don't think I have the willpower.
I've been told that it may be better to fast than to diet (tried, couldn't).
What are the internet's opinions?

Fasting will reset your GI track which is good for you pancreas and gallbladder...only takes a few days for the reset. After that, eat healthy. Diets as for fags.

I cook my own food and try to keep it as healthy as possible. I grill instead of frying, eat plenty of fruits, veggies and seafood, gave up on soda, etc. Going to the gym a couple times a week. All fine but no improvements on weight (started around January). I'm 190 and was hoping to go to 160lb.

When I tried reducing portions it's when I started being miserable. I was always hungry and I could only think about eating all the time.

How long should I be looking to fast the first time? How often?

I would do 3 days 3 times a year. Space it out so like every 4 months or so at your discretion, you can give a take a month if you're just not in the mood or busy or whatever.

You'll feel the difference, but also avoid television because food commercials will drive you insane. Think of it like camping with no electronics...total cut off. Buy some books you've been wanting to read or have been pretending you've already read, get some running shoes and jog, start a project, paint a wall, whatever. it'll help

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
