>dollar store Italian seasoning
All it will do is make your home made spaghetti n' meat sauce taste muddy. Either use higher quality ingredients or just leave it out.

If people have the time and money to make something higher quality they probably won't be shopping at the dollar store in the first place
I often buy ground pork and then season it with this stuff as well as onion garlic salt and pepper. It normally comes out pretty well.
What should I be buying instead?

Yeah, you should use All-Purpose Greek Seasoning instead

Putting lube in your food is a meme anon.
are they a dollar or is it some of that 2-3 dollar con job shit?

I use McCormick Italian herb seasoning on veggies and pasta and it tastes great.

I'm generally against pre-blended spices if you're trying to do any kind of cooking beyond /fit/-tier chicken breasts and broccoli. I don't like not knowing exactly how much of each spice is going into my dish, and being limited to one ratio of each spice in the blend can make all your dishes taste kind of samey.
I seasoned my first batch of alfredo sauce with salt and pepper and a packet of "pizza spice" and it came out great
if it works it works
>want to make chicken alfredo
>chicken breast seasoned with a ranch packet that pizza hut used to serve on their fries (I work there)
fuck you OP. yes you're right but holy hell was it delicious
