I made a loaf bread for first time today and let the yeast do its thing for 3-4 hours and it came out with an alcohol smell. is it safe to eat and or how can i savage this bread?
Thanks!

That's perfectly normal.
Yeast eat sugar, then piss out alcohol and fart carbon dioxide (that's why the bread rises). Adding yeast to bread is no different than using yeast to brew beer or wine. You always get CO2 and alcohol.

Yes it's safe to eat.
Christ.
will i get drunk?
The alcohol will cook off when you bake, so no. Alcohol is a by-product of yeast metabolism, along with CO2. However, alcohol only becomes significant when there is a lack of food, meaning that you let it rise too long via too much yeast, heat, and/or time.

I was okay with you until this post.
I hope the bread gives you food poisoning.

That really is a silly question. Think about how long it takes to ferment even a 5% abv beer. Two weeks and the specific gravity is @ 1.045 sugar which is quite high compared to your loaf of bread. And you are fermenting for a few hours. C'mon.
It gon kill ya!
i seriously hope you don't eat this
