Which is better, and why?
>>
Hormel is Mostly soy protein. So it sucks.
>>
>>9091765
Does that mean Hormel will give you tits?
>>
Hormel is good shit but neither are that good
>>
>>9091780
Why do you think Hormel is more good
>>
>>9091759
Make it your self...and add zucchini, sweet potato, corn, tomatoes, onion, garlic, beans, and peanut butter.
>>
>>9091759

Hormel is awful garbage.

Is there anything Hormel makes that is actually worth eating? Like Kraft, they seem to make exclusively shit-tier food.
>>
The one without beans
>>
>>9091759
Wolf's without beans is pretty decent but I think Campbell's Roadhouse chili is better than both.
>>
Also do they add flour or some kind of roux to their chili to make it the consistency of a shart?

Everytime I've had home made chili from a crockpot it's more akin to the type you would get from Wendy's which neither are bad per se but something just is missing that you get from the canned varieties.
>>
>>9091973
The consistency you're talking about comes from cooking the meat long enough to partially break down, and also from using really shitty grade "meat" that contains a lot of tiny little particles rather than actual chunks. (i.e. pink slime).

You can easily do the same thing at home. Cook longer, and use something that reaches an actual simmer rather than just keeping warm like a crock pot.
>>
>>9091985
You sure know a lot about chili
So which do you prefer?
>>
>>9091990

I find them pretty similar. The only thing I buy this canned slop for is making chili dogs. For some reason they just don't taste right unless made with shit-tier chili like this. Good chili is a waste on chili dogs.
>>
>>9092004
This is truth.

Chili dogs, frito pie, and chili-cheese dip all require shit-tier canned chili.

Good chili is for enjoying on it's own, saltines optional.

I enjoy a nice chili on a nice dog, though if I'm at home I agree, I'm not gonna bother putting actual chili on a Ballpark Frank or some crap, but in that case too I just buy some shitty cheap "hot dog chili"

Though, most places that sell chili dogs their chili is more of a sauce, unlike the more stew like chili thats served by itself
