haagen dazs is probably the overall highest quality national brand but quality doesn't mean everything.
Other brands have their winners and losers as well. Even shit like great value has some very good flavors.

premium price - premium calories: Shit ice cream.
They use those big ass gross chocolate flakes in half their ice creams and their vanilla base just tastes fucking weird. That's like 90% of what they offer right there automatically is shit.
They have a few good flavors like any brand but overall the brand is a disappointment.
