kraut is for sausages of depth, to enhance them. best for brats. not trad footlongs. chili is for footlongs.

ideally if hot dogs are the focus, I'd want one of a Chicago dog, and one of a chili dog. both are just about equal in terms of greatness. chili dogs win out just slightly. hot dogs are not a great food, overall. but chili dogs and chicago dogs are both great when done well. couldn't choose between them.
