There should just be a store that charges a membership fee that's pretty pricy but everything is free when you go shopping. That way it cuts down on waste cause you aren't throwing shit away, people are taking it.
And no, people wouldn't suddenly become massive hoarders. You could still take a preventative measure of only getting one shopping cart full of stuff per trip.

Either the business is throwing away money or the consumer is throwing away money, and I think given the greedy nature of people, it's likely that the former outweighs the latter

I didn't finish it.
But I thought it was okay since I have a very hard time getting into anything at all. I watched it alongside cowboy bebop and liked the latter much more
