Don't know about the guy but his pizza is vile. We have 3 'American pizza' chains here. New York is meh, Domino's is worse, and Papa John's is fucking disgusting. Ended up throwing it out after eating half of it. Really the only thing I order anymore is ice cream and M&M's if I've got the munchies.

This may have been true 15 years ago when PJ was expanding, but Papa Johns is definitely exactly equal in terms of quality and taste with Pizza Hut now. Often times Pizza Hut is better, since Papa Johns has changed their pizza so it becomes gross and congealed after more than 15 minutes out the oven

I'm eating a Papa John's pizza right now. BBQ pizza with extra sauce, light cheese, shredded chicken, bacon, and banana peppers.

In my experience, Papa Johns has better quality toppings but their crust is bland shit. I would really like to try a pie with their toppings and Pizza Hut's delicious greasy flavored crust.

Domino's has stepped up their game by a huge margin. The sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and their hand tossed crust has a good garlic butter flavor and is crispy yet tender. The bacon I ordered on my pizza looked like someone cooked bacon in a skillet and tore it apart with their hands even though I know they didn't.
