worth it/not worth it? If not what is the better alternative?

I love getting stuff in the mail, but none of them are worth it unless you have some completely disposable income.

I've gone through a few (I don't know, check the past 5 years of archives), and while there was some good stuff, you were ultimately paying shipping from Japan, plus paying the weeb who puts the boxes together, and the end result Really doesn't justify the price, even when you got "exclusive, only found in Japan edition" candy that tastes just like everything else you've tried from them.

I think I always did smaller, more niche services, so JC will probably be really hit or miss if you only get one month.

wait for a promotion. I got one for signing up for crunchy roll for a month(which was also a free trial). Signed up for CR, got the JC code, ordered the box, canceled the CR sub, and canceled the JC sub once the first box shipped.

Decent stuff in there but not worth spending money on really.

Use a fake email though because they spam the shit out of you when you unsub. from their boxes.
