Help me out with something, /ck/.
I am shooting a short film next weekend. (Friend asked for help). He told me he needed two dishes for a fancy michellin starred kitchen scene.
The catch is that one of them has to be meat based, the other one should have a slice of cheese/raw cheese somewhere. The whole film is about two chefs trying to find some life changing cheese in south america.
Mostly looking for plating/presentation ideas.
Lots of love,
J'Marcus Ljondl The Second.

Just copy something out of your copy of The French Laundry cookbook. If you don't have one, buy it. It's a great kitchen resource.

Easiest thing would be to get a copy of Martha Stewart Living and craft two plates to look like any of the recipes there. The food photos are very au courant, aspirational and highly styled.
