So, we're setting up a party and the guys planning it wasted most of the budget with vodkas and tequila.
I'm planning to get some whiskeys with the leftover budget, making a balance between quality and quantity. What is the best i can get: Jack daniels or Johnnie Walker Red/Black label? There's also a "jack daniels honey" for the same price of the original but is it worth it?
I know nothing about whiskeys and these are the only ones i can get here from a Reliable Supplier.

I prefer jim bean. Doesn't taste cheap like jack, but that's me. Any whisky "Honey" types are sweet. A little too sweet sometimes, I drink it on ice during hot summer nights.
They're not even remotely the same alcohol. One is corn whiskey, the other is scotch. They taste nothing alike and are made entirely differently.

This. You can get a handle of Beam at Costco for under $20. Better than both options in OP.

All those flavored whiskeys are just a way for them to sell 70 proof shit so they can make more money.
