Tepache, tejuino, rusas and lechugilla
fucking hell Mexico
It's odd drinking orange juice from a plastic bag, but when it's been freshly squeezed right in front of you, cant complain.
can you cu/ck/s give me some other drinks to try? I've never been anywhere except for Mexico recently, and never realized how much I was missing out on food for being a bitch ass with shit taste buds growing up
looking to try some new drinks I can make at home. I have a bag of jamaica flowers? to make tea
Help me out

Don't boil the jamaica flowers but instead let them soak overnight otherwise it'll be very acidic. Tepache and tejuino are fermented drinks, I've found it's a hit and miss since they go bad very quickly.
Tepache is semi-fermented pineapple juice, just toss some pineapple peels in a vessel with juice and ferment for a day.
Tejuino is corn masa and piloncillo, boil water, add masa and piloncillo until it disolves and let it sit for a day.
Look up champurrado and pinole for winter time drinks.
I fucking love tepache "preparado", is just tepache with chilly powder, lemon juice and chamoy

They only serve drinks in plastic bags for tourists. The only reason people in Mexico drink stuff out of plastic bags is when you used to buy sodas in glass bottles, the shopkeep/vendor would dump in a plastic bag and keep the bottle instead of charging you for the deposit. They don't even do that anymore either, since most soda bottles say 'NO RETORNABLE."

can you recommend a brand that is not too watery and a bit more on the sweet and spicy side?
or maybe a recipe? Idk what kind of chile to use, but I do have fresh peaches in my backyard
