Just bought this comically tiny cast-iron pot (1/4 of a quart), but I can't find anything about actually cooking in them. I assume it involves messing with the cook time and ingredient size, but do any anons have experience with these?

I have a normal sized cast iron dutch oven. I take it camping or deep fry in it.

If you don't even know what to do with it, why buy it?

these are the sorts of things they sell for restaurants to fill with macaroni and cheese to crust them up in the oven and put out to service. you're not going to get any real utility out of it besides something based on appearance
they're good for melting chocolate

I mean if I was in OP's position, I'd buy maybe 3 more, and then you have a fancy way of serving individual portions when you have people round for dinner.

Probably for potpourri

Just use it like a baking dish. It keeps things moist inside because it's probably self-basting, so it can really cook anything you would want to cook in the oven.
I only use mine for bread though

Yes. They are rarely used for actual cooking because of the tiny size. They're used mainly for presentation. A restaurant would use them to serve side dishes. That's the standard use for these things.
