My vote is guanabana, followed by cherimoya. I've had both of these trees in my yard growing up, and I say a person with many options lets the fruit fall to the ground unwanted to rot and be enjoyed by the squirrels and birds. Custardy fruit takes a certain mood, and it's a rare mood. I used starfruit all the time in muffins and upside down cake, or just eating out of hand. My favorite fruit of all time, if we discount citrus which is so essential as an ingredient, not just a fruit, just saying...so of all time? Lychee is to die for, a perfection of juicy refreshing floral and sweet goodness that you literally countdown to the right season and then horde them in your fridge to eat like cherries everytime you open the door.
