What does harry potter sauce taste like and where is it used

This stuff makes a bacon sandwich complete.
Also very good with sausages.
Also good mixed in with bubble and squeak (mashed potato and cabbage all fried up).

Isn't that stuff just A1 sauce by another name?
>>9049601
Nope. I have no idea where this misconception comes from.
The HP sold in the USA and Canada uses different ingredients from the European stuff made in the Netherlands though.
>>9049612
Well it seems to have the same color and consistency.

Seriously? They have similar shaped bottles, and the taste, texture, and appearance is very similar as well.
They clearly aren't identical, but they are very similar.
Ok great thanks for info

it tastes like a complicated ketchup, which is mostly what it is. And you can use it anywhere you might use ketchup.
I enjoy it with breakfast foods like hashbrowns and sausages. Good with meat pies too.
You can use it like an okonomi sauce in a pinch.

This. I've had some of that dark ketchup they have on "the continent" and it tastes sort of like that. But they actually sell that in ketchup bottles so it's easier to tell what it is. The bottle HP sauce comes in looks more like an A1 bottle, hence the American misconception. I would say HP is closer in taste to American chili sauce.

>similar shaped bottles
>it must taste the same
its like worcestershire sauce only worse
>>9049601
Its a mass produced sauce that is better than absolutely nothing on steak, but its definitely worse than A1
>>9049589
Tastes like butter beer, and on Hermoine's face.
>>9052166
It's more like what happens when you mix worcestershire sauce with ketchup
