Bought this at the local asian market instead of the american kikkoman shoyu
Tastes way different. What's the deal? Do they use a different process? The american stuff doesn't taste nearly as fermenty and smooth. American stuff is a bit lighter and salty.
I don't think I can go back either way. I'll probably be getting this by the gallon.
