I usually only eat fried shit and white potatoes when traveling/socializing, so I eat the fries that are served at whatever vegan place I happen to be at. I may skip them next time since I've had enough for this decade. There's always something better to eat within reach.

There's hardly a better drunkfood than a paper wrap of chips and sausage. The former are chips almost entirely made of the soft interior of fries you're familiar with, basted in chip shop malt. ( which is a specific flavor a bit different than malt vinegar you might know ).
The sausage should be bursting with a crispy skin but a juicy flesh.
Then you stumble to your fridge and try to find the worst possible topping for your meal. My sister and I now have a tradition of cockles on chips.
