Laphroig is the the best thing you own. I have a distillers edition Lagavulin that rivals it.

I agree, the Laphroaig QC is smokey as fuck. I like it, but it's in a uniqueness/variety/appreciation of whiskey kind of way more so than the actual flavor profile. I couldn't sip this like I could with a good bourbon.

the willett pot still reserve (middle one) is by far the most enjoyable in my opinion. the eagle rare is the least.

fun fact: the Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, and Stagg Jr are all the same juice. The only differences are that the Stagg Jr is barrel proof and non-filtered, the Eagle Rare is the 10 year aged version, and Buffalo Trace is the 6-9 year aged version.
