Yes you definitely want the salt. Also, you want Toms or Lance's snack peanuts - Planters dry roasted (the kind in a jar) are too hard and bitter.

The whole experience is the sweet/salty combo - plus the peanuts get a little softer. This was my favorite snack growing up.
