Well you did like 4 things wrong so I'm assuming you didn't even attempt to Google how to do basic cooking techniques, let alone a recipe. I'm guessing this is a bait post but I'll still try and help you a bit on the off chance you're just this fucking new.
First of all, you should always try to follow recipes when you're learning how to cook. It's a lot easier to improvise when you have an idea of what you're doing, so to get that idea you learn how to make basic dishes. Looks like you at least had ground turkey, onions, and some kind of white cheese available so you could have done a very basic turkey burger.
To do that, dice the onions a little finer then what you did and as evenly as you can manage. Then mix up a handful of them with the ground turkey, salt, and pepper. You probably want a ratio of around 1/4 onions to turkey. Mix it up thoroughly with your hands, but if you're a gigantic pussy who doesn't like touching raw meat and loves making things pointlessly complicated you can use a spoon. Then form the mixture into patties, this time you probably have to use your hands. Cook in the pan until thoroughly browned on both sides, flipping once or twice, and put a slice of cheese on top of the patties just as they're nearly done. Then put them on a bun or whatever bread you have handy with whatever condiments you want/have.

Thank you for the tip sir. No, it is not bait. this is how I have been eating my ground meat for years, but I will try to employ some of your techniques
