Anyone here have any experience with buying groceries online? I've been looking into it, the prices aren't as high as I imagined they would be.

Sure. I've bought herbs and spices, sausage casings, caul fat, wild game (poultry), old-fashioned style ham and bacon, and cheeses via mail-order. I've never had a problem with it and it's a great way to get products that you can't get locally.

It's a huge industry in the UK. Employs tens of thousands.
If you want your shit fresh, get an afternoon delivery slot. If you want it dropped, get an evening one.

I've got some friends in Manhattan who do Fresh Direct. It works for them as long as they plan out pretty much what they need for a week's worth of meals and stick to the plan. They're also a lot more wealthy than I am. I hit the immigrant markets and pay about half as much for groceries as they do. But I spend more time shopping and cooking.

I use prime pantry on a fairly basis. It's usually for junk like Surge and bagel chips. The prices were okay at the start but I'm actually starting to see some savings in some the things they are selling
>$5.99 shipping per box, even with prime
until this happens
