Remember to put the entire inedible shell right on top of your pasta, pilaf, or pizza.

You want it to be as inconvenient as possible.

I like the standard saute a few cloves of garlic to flavor the olive oil, dump in 1/2 bottle of decent white wine, put the mussels in, sprinkle with hot pepper flakes, close lid and wait a few minutes until they open. Be sure to scoop the broth with the shells and slurp it. God, there's not much better.

That pizza picture is pissing me off. Also, when people leave the tails on shrimp and cover it with sauce.

Sauted in butter and white wine.
