Post your favorite snack bar to eat.
I like their white chocolate macadamia nut.
I like almost all the quest bars but my favorite is the s'mores.

I see, another person who doesn't understand that some people actually need/use the calories in high-energy bars. I believe the more important question is: "How fat are YOU?"
Since going gluten free I've been using these as my main snack bar. I found them at Walmart and they're pretty ok.
I never liked Cliff Bars because they're too large to be considered a snack.

I hike a lot and these are my "small and quick" energy boost bars. Currently going through a box of Blueberry Crisp which I like enough to buy again.
For "slow and big" I use Clif Builder's in Vanilla Almond. Mind you "big" is somewhat misleading since it's only 270 vs 250 calories, however since they are built around protein they feel much more filling and take longer for the energy boost to kick in. For heavy long hikes (6+ hours) I'll usually have one of each at different times.
After researching many different kinds and brands, these have the best nutritional composition and the best value for the money ratio. And they taste good too, so that's all I could ask for.
That said, I find it kinda silly and wasteful to be eating them daily as a casual snack. Even if they are calculated into your daily nutrition (not only by total calories, but the macronutrient balance), you could get the same nutrients by eating something more natural and less processed which would be much healthier in the long run. Save these for when you actually do need this energy in such compact and portable form.
I guess I think of them not as food, but in a more utilitarian way as basically sports equipment.
