When cooking for the family baby gets hot dogs and ketchup all cut up into bite size pieces. The hot dog buns are for the grown ups in the family.
1 for wife, 2 for hubby, 1 for sis, 2 for juniour, 1 for baby, and one left over.

The cheapass half cardboard hot dogs like Bar-S come in 10 packs, but most of the other decent brands come in 8 packs, the same as buns. Unless it's Jew National, the number of hotdogs in their packages is just weird.

Here's a tip for making these edible. Boil them in a pot of water for a couple minutes to get out most of the nitrates and chemicals. Then throw them on a hot 600-700F grill until the outside is crispy but not burned. You're welcome.
