This'll do.

1 bottle heinz ketchup
1 cup minute maid lemonade
tablespoon of ground charcoal
2 fortune cookies
small box of dried fish eyes
1 used swiffer pad
gently fold everything together. be sure to open-mouth cough into the bowl several times. once mixed, pour entire mix onto ex-wife's layer's lexus.
For pulled pork the best sauce is:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Black Pepper
Red Pepper Flakes
Salt
that's it
mix it all up in and just lather it on there
tangy, spicy and salty and compliments pork perfectly
for a tomato based sauce
ketchup
paprika
salt
black pepper
mustard powder
cayenne pepper
brown sugar
garlic powder
that's a more traditional thick tomato based bbq sauce
all these ingredients are to taste just work with it until it tastes "right"
pic related, used the tomato base for my ribs today

Is there a good way to make SMOOTH bbq sauce from complete scratch (e.g. actually using raw onion. garlic and and peppers; not powders) without having to press it through a sieve
>>8986410
if you want it like they do in the restaurants
take a whole onion and put it in a pan
3 cups brown sugar
2 cups molasses
1 tbsp tomato paste
pepper to taste
I prefer a mustard based sauce for my pork.
Yellow mustard
Mustard powder
Apple cider vinegar
Honey or Brown sugar
Black pepper
Cayenne pepper or chipotle pepper
Salt
Garlic powder
Or if you want something really different try a Alabama style white sauce. https://youtu.be/uFvIs7MjUHA

Tomato based sweet and sour BBQ sauce......
PER 1 cup of FRESH tomato puree
.25 cup carmelized chopped onion
1 clove sauted minced garlic
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs apple cider vinegar
.5 tbs smoked paprika
.5 tbs chili powder
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp black pepper
.25 tsp cinnamon
.25 tsp onion powder
.25 tsp garlic powder
.25 tsp white pepper
salt to taste
In a pan, heat some oil and caramelize your chopped onion, then add garlic and cook until fragrant, then add your tomato puree, dry spices, and vinegar, and cook out all the moisture in the tomato. Once you have something close to a paste, add water to thin it out, and simmer on low for at least 45 mins to an hour to meld all the flavors. Add water as needed. After the simmer, top it up, if needed to achieve the desired consistency, and adjust your salt / sugar / vinegar ratios as needed to suit your "sweet and sour" taste.
Once seasoned, pour into a blender / processor and mix ingredients together. Strain the mix in a mesh strainer and use immediately, or store in the fridge.
Carolina style apple cider vinegar sauce.............
1.5 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbs salt
1 tbs black pepper
1 tbs red pepper flake
1 tbs hot sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp cinnamon
This stuff is the absolute bomb with pork.
