Not my favourite and is up for discussion for actually being cheese but Cottage cheese works with a shitload of dishes. It makes soups more creamy, pastas more nutritious / adds to the flavour and it goes really well with lots of vegetables too, especially as it has a high nutritional value.
I would almost call it the perfect addition to any dish. It's also cheap.

I can't deny it; a good quality well aged cheddar. Although I'm also partial to Stilton, a good Double Gloucester, and I like a baked Camembert.
