Butter isn't inherently pleb tier. It's more of a choice in tastes, plus a tradition based on climate thing in different parts of Europe, some of which were good for growing olives and others for rearing cattle and other livestock.

Find bread you really like, good chewy not so crusty breads that are fresh as can be, if you can find it made within a hour get that. Get good tasty butter, go Land o lakes is good, make sure it is salted. If you can find horizon with the cow logo, get that, its real good shit.

If after that you still don't like it then maybe its just not for you.
