Making some baba ganoush tonight.
What are y'all cooking?

I've always been curious, how do you make baba ganoush? I know I could google it, but fuck it.
I made black bean burgers, but they fell apart when I tried to flip them. Admittedly didn't chill them though, which is what the cookbook said to do.
They were surprisingly good. Usually I don't feel full after eating vegetarian meals, but I've found a couple now that have done the job.

It's very simple, actually.
Roast some eggplant in the oven until tender.
Scrape out all the meat and stick it in a blender.
Add garlic, lemon, tahini (pine nut condiment), olive oil, S&P.
Blend, bowl, garnish, eat.
I like to throw some radishes in there too for a kick. Blended radish has that nasaly feeling you get when eating horseradish. I also like to garnish with some diced tomato and jalapeno for some flair.

Nice, thank you!
I just got home from work and it's nearly 9pm so I don't really feel like cooking. I'm either going to heat up a french bread pizza or, if I get some motivation, go to the bodega around the corner and get some eggs to scramble with cress and goat cheese.
R8 my poor people soup and gooby cup
Spiced up with soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, and ginger so I don't feel as bad eating ramen. Needs more broth but P good

Where'd those veggies come from? Looks like you took the veggies from a chicken soup and added them to ramen

Came from the fridge, just cut them myself. I figured chicken ramen gets chicken noodle veggies. I soften them in the seasonings and then boil them with the noodles so they get pretty good when it's time to eat

Babaganoush has yogurt in it, your recipe is for an eggplant dip.

Tahini is made from sesame seeds

Looks good dude
I ate a Taco Bell Box meal....
It came with a lot of food, a bag of nachos with cheese, a crunchy taco, a cheesey gordita crunch, and a burrito supreme
I still feel like it was too much, I should have saved the burrito for tomorrow
