Why? It's not really that great, nor is it all that cheap. And you have to add a fuckton of salt to it before it tastes like much of anything. I don't get the appeal at all.

I use it for stuffed peppers alongside rice and seasoning.

Use it in chili instead of ground beef

U can make a really decent ragu, add some broth, spices, garlic, sundried tomato, and maybe alittle anchovy and you got some tasty sauce. I also like to add a bit of any left over cured pork I have for extra flavor.

Here's what I'd do with ground turkey. Make it into turkey Italian sausage by frying it with garlic, salt, crushed red pepper, white pepper and a generous amount of fennel seed. Set aside. Make vodka sauce by adding vodka to your Italian red sauce, letting the alcohol cook off and finishing with cream. Blanch a couple handfuls of fresh peas and add to sauce. Use that to dress penne pasta along with the turkey sausage. That's pretty much the signature dish at an Italian joint I used to go to in NYC's East Village, and it's fucking great.

Ima try it out
I've been making this recipe for a couple years, and I still love it. Very easy to make, too.
>Cook ground turkey in one pan
>In a deep pan, heat up a tablespoon of olive oil.
>put a few minced cloves of garlic. Cook for one minute.
>Add spices. About a tsp each of turmeric, cayenne pepper, cumin and coriander. Add rice. Cook five minutes.
>Add chicken stock. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover, cool for twenty minutes.
>When that's done, mix in the ground turkey, add black beans, chickpeas, chopped parsley and chopped cilantro.
