ITT: post unexplainable food
>>8964840
The food is almost comprehensible, but the purple burner truly is one of life's mysteries
>>8964892
>purple burner
It's an artifact from how IR affects image sensors. Older cameras especially. My 2004-era digital camera used to have purple highlights around a lot of bright light sources. Better filters and modern software reduces the effect.
>>8964914
Huh, one of life's mysteries indeed. The world may never know.
>>8964818
Looks like a greek salad that has been "deconstructed" in a super gay meme way
>>8965686
So THAT'S what that is
Tell me, anon, why are there oreo crumbs over everything?
>>8966386
>he thinks black pepper are oreo crumps
I've already lost all hope for mankind, so this is not surprising for me
>>8966386
Oreo crumbs are good on anything desu.
>>8966386
>oreo crumbs
>>8966402
If that's black pepper, why are the grains such different sizes? Were the peppercorns ground in a mortar and pestle?
>>8964840
the best bit is the walmart brand soup kek
Did anyone save the vertical from the guy cooking the hot dog using a wall outlet and a paper plate earlier today?
>>8966496
Yes?
>>8966496
>Were the peppercorns ground in a mortar and pestle?
That wouldn't be far off, just look at that hipster meme presentation.
I wouldn't be surprised if they grounded it in some victorian era coffee grinder.
>>8966509
I saved snippets, but it's not a vertical.

This thread was as /ck/ as it get, why the fuck was it deleted
>>8964818
Deconstructed Greek salad?
>>8966535
Didn't save the verticals posted cause assumed it wouldn't fall off for a while, come back and it's deleted TT. wTf m8
>>8966535
No idea dude, I was equally dismayed.
I guess a new mod/janitor is trying to think of the children.
report the mod, there was nothing ban worth in that thread based on the rules.
>>8966537
for future reference /ck/ has an archive

Genuine question, is there anything wrong with cooking something directly on the burner like that?
I'm sure it's ass to clean depending on what it is, but that just seems way faster and more convenient than buttering up a pan.
>>8966919
fluids will leak into the sides of your stove or the control panel and destroy the electrical wiring eventually.
>>8966919
Not on those stoves, go nuts. They're waterproofed.
You'll find that HYPER BURNT ON FOOD is considerably harder to clean than a pan you can throw in the sink to soak is though.
>>8966643
i've had perfectly normal, sane posts deleted over the last couple of days, it's definitely some new pissant janitor
>>8966666
>>8966666
The word is "inexplicable" you pleb
>>8968664
is that imitation crab?
>>8969201
what is this
>>8969231
peanut butter and jelly sandwich
didn't your parents care about you enough to laser-cut your sandwiches?
>>8964818
Explanation is bored wait staff, after hours, fucking around.
>>8969231
My guess would be fantasy soap
>>8969210
No, it's a pickle, vodka and speck...the ultimate slav dinner...
>>8967516
I responded to a 'lol white ppl' post with a pithy, anti-nigger post and copped a 24 hr ban.
It's important to remember that around the time janitor positions are advertised, you get an influx of dickhead/SJW/power mad wankers flexing their muscles.

it's like that old politician joke " if you're ever wondering why politicians do the things that they do, just imagine the kind of person who dreams of being a politician"
it's the same with jannys. imagine what kind of person dreams of being able to delete posts on 4chan in his free time. there is a 0% chance of decent people becoming jannys
>>8969664
>insects and half a corn cob
why
>>8969696
>insects
>>8969696
the corn is to catch them
>>8964818
Is that from the 80s?
>>8969664
This is just a low country boil with crawfish. It's usually shrimp and sausage though. Crawfish is fucking stupid.
>>8970175
this man is correct, crawfish are pretty good tho where I live
>>8966653
I laughed way too hard at this
>>8964818
That's literally the most retarded plate I've ever seen. The mental gymnastics one must go through to eat this is way too much, even for modern fine dining
>scrape onions off of glass
>move cheese to side along with onions
>remove wine glass from plate spilling veg everywhere
>mix shotglass of vinaigrette and pour over veg cheese and onions
>eat
>>8964818
I would be outraged if someone served this to me
>>8970705
you're the one that ordered it dumbfuck
>>8969964
I'd still eat it
>>8964818
>deconstructed greek salad
They should DIAF.
>>8966402
Oreo soil
>>8969696
I've eaten cooked crickets and mealworms before. They taste and feel pretty significantly different from water arthropods. You're being silly.

Crushed black peppercorns have white on the inside. This especially shows when crushed in a mortar, which I do since I don't have a pepper grinder. I don't know what those things are, but they look more like Oreo crumbs than black pepper.
Make sure you know what you're talking about before you try to call someone out like that.
>>8971478
That's the point.
>>8971482
Pic related.
>>8971482
It's ground black garlic
>>8970633
>>8971532
There needs to be bad ideas for them to be filtered in the first place
Innovation IS for innovation's sake. It's now our job to decide whether or not deconstructed greek salad or tablecloth food is a good idea or if it needs to be filtered.
>>8970633
more money than sense
>>8970633
Girl in the center has a nice rack.
>>8970633
That's how you charge 100$ plus tip for a crème brulée.
I still prefer a 8€ café gourmand.
