Did you go this weekend? Just got back from mine. Got some small tomatoes (sakura honey variety), strawberries (that time of the year folks) persian cucumbers (for pickles), and a bag of carrots
strawberries in season are really great because the grocery store ones invariably taste like wet garbage

Go but I planted a garden. tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet corn, watermelon, strawberries, carrots, onions, potatoes, string beans, cayenne peppers, jalapenos and some other stuff.

damn that's a lot of stuff. Did you dig our your yard to make beds?

I got 1 dozen duck eggs for $3.00. I think they have a much richer flavor than chicken eggs. We grow most of our vegetables so I'm already harvesting the in season stuff.

already had beds, but had to till it and put new soil down.

nice. I live on a drainage easement so I can't make beds but I have a large raised deck I'm doing container gardening. First timer so I just got some herbs, tomato and snap peas to start.
All the cuckafornia transplants here ruined it, it's like a shitty etsy shop overflowing with fat middle aged women trying to sell you their crap art or new-age healing.

Sounds like Austin
I'm in Buda. I haven't been to our farmers market because for some reason they set up on Tuesday during work hours.

Yeah I bought sunflowers, some multicolored carrots and some potatoes. I also grabbed a bag of coffee.
I don't go every week...but I felt like my place needed a flower arrangement for a while and sunflowers are tight as fuck right now...snagged 'em.

every time I go I want to get flowers and remember I have fuck all to put them in at home. Should really get on that cause flowers are dope

Fucking this. I used to go to the farmer's marked in Cedar Park, but over the years all the fucking commiefornians have continued invading and ruining it. Now going there is awful since like 75% of the vendors they have are just selling all this new-age hippie-dippie bullshit like 50 types of kombucha, vegan ice cream, vegan dog food, healing stones, dreamcatchers, herbal cancer "cures" etc.
And they always have some terrible local band or musician screeching away and banging on bongo drums or whatever.
I like to hunt and fish my own meat and grow my own fruits and veggies and buy food as little as I can.
Feels good to be self-sufficient and to have the knowledge and skills to do it.
If shit ever hits the fan most people will die in the first two weeks

I sure hope you don't mean "inside of my place." I'd grow the fuckers indoors but it's just not feasibe to have a 8 foot tall plant with a single flimsy stalk in a planter.

are you retarded?
