i had to give mine to my new immigrant neighbors. they're from pakistan.

but our tea cups in general tend to be fancier than your standard yank tea cup.

I love tea but unfortunately it triggered by new refugee neighbors so I have to forgo it now..

I own only a standard 150 ml white teacup (living in college) and I use this all the time. I drink water, coffee and tea. It has emotional value to me since it was a gift from my mother. Had another blue teacup that was a gift from my grandma but a roommate made me the favor to destroy it.

I drink tea from soft-paste porcelain (bone china) tea cups and coffee from a standard ceramic coffee mug (or a pint glass, if having it iced) The tea cups are slightly translucent. They're painted inside with a feather or leaf or something and with light shining through, you can see the design from the outside.
