1.5oz Blanco Tequila
.75oz Cointeau
1oz Fresh lime juice
.25oz agave nectar

It's been a while since I've been behind a bar that wasn't in my apartment, but I seem to remember it being something like 7:4:3 - tequila, triple-sec/orange liqueur, lime. Salt/sugar/both on the rim being optional, ice being optional but recommended.

I usually do mine with something like that ratio in a shaker, a tbsp of shaved ice in the glass, a single of tequila into the shaved ice, cold-ass margarita up top, "brined" (33/33/33 sugar, salt, water) sixth of a lime as garnish, spun around the rim... sometimes with a 1/4tsp triple-sec float, and maybe a birds-eye or tabasco chilli on a toothpick when I feel like making life weirder for everyone.

2oz El tesoro platinum tequila
.75oz cointreau, or a bit less depending on personal taste
.75oz line juice
.25oz agave syrup
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice or a chilled coupe, each with optional salt rim

I substitute the tequila for lidl's tequila and the agave syrup for .5 sugar syrup and it comes out pretty good as far as I can tell
