The easiest visible difference is that mcnuggets are battered with no breadcrumbs. Burger king has batter but it has flecks of black pepper in the batter. Wendys nuggets are chewier and crispier and also have flecks of black pepper in the batter. Most generic nuggets have bread crumbs.
