has anyone ever tried these? I saw them at the store and they seemed like a neat idea for a lazy person that wants pizza but I didn't want to buy it and have it go to waste if its shitty
honestly, for $3 more you can have a whole pizza freshly baked, why even bother?
I don't like their flavor at all. I'd rather make little naan or flat bread pizzas for a premade crust.

Honestly it's a good way to teach young kids how to cook, but that's really it's only application.
>Look kids, you can put all this stuff on here, then we throw it in the magical box in the kitchen. 14 minutes later...pizza.
I guess it would be better to buy premade pizza dough and have the kids roll it out. But like vegetables, parents vary in quality.

I've tried it a few times OP. It's really bad. Real bad. If you want to make a halfway decent "homemade" pizza, use this. For what it is, these are actually pretty fucking good. Good dough, the sauce is very tangy and not sweet, it's nice sauce. Add anything you want to it, it's just a very solid and easy base. Make sure to only buy the cheese version, the pepperoni is not good. Also the parmesan it comes with is very flavorful and much better than Kraft green can parm. But be warned. When you cook this pizza your whole house will smell like hot vomit for a day.

Pepperoni is never good anyway, it should be avoided in general.

kek. When I was growing up that was the homemade pizza my dad made. Your description about the sauce is spot on. My only issue was he used jimmy deans breakfast sausage and slimy canned mushrooms for toppings. Parents can be very, very fucking weird.

You mean how to bake?
Because pizza is one of those things you do for fun and not because you're lazy, it's certainly not cost effective to make your own pizza unless you buy 55-gallon containers of ingredients.
Cookies and pastries are much more rewarding for the effort and sunk costs.

I spent 10 bucks and I have enough ingredients to make like 3 pizzas that all taste better than what you would get at a run of the mill pizza place.
You just gotta be frugal.
